Today is "Red Spectral Dragon" day

The combinaison of "Spectral" and "Red Dragon" mean;
"I liberate birth and/or I release to nurture"

Red Dragon days are good for crawling into your personal cave, so you may rest and emerge re-newed.

We all need to replenish our energies and today is a good day for it.

Make sure those loved ones around you also get the chance to recharge themselves. Offer yourself as a nurturer.

The Red Dragon is the first glyph and today, we begin a new tumble down the Tzolkin. This is another reason why Red Dragon is associated with birth.

it is therefore a perfect day to be liberated by re-birth.

Today is "Yellow Planetary Sun" day

The combinaison of "Planetary" and "Yellow Sun" mean;
"I manifest universal fire and/or I perfect enlightenment"

Yellow Sun days are the kind of days when you get lightbulbs appearing above your head.

Revelations will come to you and help shed the sunlight on a certain situation.

If you have a burning question, try burning a candle and meditating.

You can even ask question to the fire and it will respond to you. Find out first how the flame reacts for a "Yes" and/or for a "NO", then ask your question and see what the fire responds to you.

Sand and Stone

A story tells of two friends who were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey, they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, she wrote in the sand:

"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE"

They kept on walking, until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but her friend saved her. After she recovered from the near drowning, she wrote on a stone:

"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE"

The friend, who had slapped and saved her best friend, asked her, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand, and now, you write on a stone, why?"
The other friend replied: "When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand, where the winds of forgiveness can erase it, but when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone, so no wind can ever erase it."

LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND AND

TO CARVE YOUR BLESSINGS IN STONE.

The Butterflication of Great Britain Boulevard

As some of you may know, we have had an unusually wet summer this year. The rain has created a bit of a 'Garden of Eden' effect in that anything you plant seems to grow overnight.

For example, we recently planted a couple of passion flower vines on the fence in front of our house. Within a month, the vines had already sent out tendrils that reached halfway across the fence...it was almost like you could see them grow. We chose these vines for a couple of reasons: they are Central Texas native and known for attracting butterflies.

As the rainy summer progressed, we saw many varieties of butterflies flitting about the vine and through the yard. We also saw many fat orange caterpillars lazily chewing the green leaves. Now, I know that caterpillars are the yin to the yang of the butterflies but they certainly didn't inspire in the same way, lol. Until one late afternoon.

One Friday I was coming home from an appointment and, as usual, had stopped to admire the butterflies playing around the vines. However, this time I noticed a caterpillar had hung itself upside down from one of the fence crossposts and was spinning itself into a cocoon. I watched for a few minutes and went inside to tell Keith. I felt like a 7 year old as I excitedly told him about the event.

Over the next week or so, the cocooned caterpillar twisted and turned each day as it grew wings and began the transformation to a butterfly. Early in the morning of day 10, I went outside to get the paper and noticed a fresh butterfly where the chyrsalis had been. The wings were dark and still wet. The butterfly seemed a little unsure of what the heck to do with them, but then a 'coach' flew by and I guess the secret of flight was shared.

Over the last month, a number of other chrysalis have appeared along the fence and we saw the process in many stages. I also learned that not all the caterpillars make the transition to butterfly. When the process is going right, the cocoon stays whitish and you see movement. When it goes wrong, the cocoon turns black and hangs heavy. It's always a little sad to see that.

It's a perfect example of what faith & fear is all about. The caterpillars enter the cocooning stage of their lifecycle out of pure instinct, they seek a way to leave the ground and fly closer to Source. However, once in their cocoons, they need faith that it will happen. Those who lose faith in the process and allow the fear of change to overtake them become stuck there. They cannot go back to being caterpillars and will never be butterflies.

How's that for a manifestation metaphor?

Weirdness Gone Wild

Melissa Bullock shares her experience of Francis Campone in her blog Weirdness Gone Wild

Francis Campone Where do I start writing about Francis and my experiences with him as my healer andteacher? I'd had a sticky pad note with his name and number on my computer at workfor 2 months, and when I started hearing about him through totally unrelated groups, decided that was my guidance to see what Francis was all about. My first impressionwhen I saw him was 'wow, he's young'. And then, 'oh my God, he's my age.' (I'm 50)

It would take four email newsletters to begin to describe his talents and power as a healer and teacher. And four more to describe the amazing journey my life has beenon since starting the classes and healing sessions with him four months ago. A journey that's been a warp speed roller coaster ride - the manifesting of creative ideasand outlets, the change in other people's response to me, the visions during meditation, the memories (who knows whose memories besides mine I'm accessing??), the synchronicities, not to mention the physical and emotional healing. And the list goes on. And this journey has been the inspiration for "Weirdness Gone Wild."

Francis, a native of Scotland, has been healing through hands on energy work internationally for 20 years, and started healing when he was four years old. He has been successful in curing people of every kind of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual conditionincluding cancer, tumors, MS, fibromyalgia, diabetes, epilepsy, autism, deafness, back pain, allergies, arthritis, Lyme disease, migraines, depression, sexual abuse, etc. I personally think that within five years, most medical doctors will at least grudgingly acknowledge the healing power of energy work, and within ten years, most doctors will incorporate energy work into their practice or referrals.

When I walked into my first Monday night healing class with Francis, I walked into a room packedwith around 300 people. And it was like a Who's Who of Austin area healers and seekers. The class, geared toward all levels, encompasses a whole spectrum of students - those who are just starting their path of exploration and healing, and those who've been on the path for many years, and it has an equally profound affect on everyone I've talked to.

On Friday, August 3rd, Francis will present his First Friday August lecture on "OpeningYour Heart to Love and Bliss", which will include a lecture and group healing. Healings and classes with Francis have shown me how bliss is possible even in the midst ofchaos, and how to see beyond that chaos. Plus he makes me laugh. For more informationon his healing sessions and lecture, check out his website.
